Teknion Corporation today announced that it would be showing its new Focus glass wall system at NeoCon from June 13-15 at The Mart in Chicago.
"The Focus demountable wall system seamlessly integrates a variety of glass and solid fascias to create an array of productive modern workspaces," said Paul Kruger, Teknion’s Director of Design, Architectural Products. "Focus offers a tailored approach to specific environments with its acoustic and visual continuity, and matching wall and door pairings. Frame and trim components are light in proportion through seamless inline and corner connections, providing a minimal architectural presence."
Focus offers a high level of fit and finish with factory-cut, precision-fitted joins and transitions. Glass connections include aluminum, clear polycarbonate or adhesive tape. Frame and trim components are available in robust finishes – clear anodized and polished aluminum, and powder-coat paints. All options offer a look of continuous transparency. Focus supports LEED initiatives and occupant health, balancing the need for enclosure and acoustic privacy with a sense of openness and full access to natural light.
The new wall system offers the capability to plan with single centered, single offset and double glass – in 10 or 12 mm thicknesses – in combinations with solid fascias. Focus allows for future changes with minimal components. Self-bearing glass and solid fascias, which allow for easy installation and broad planning applications.
Door options include Hinged, Single or Double Barn Doors, as well as a Pivot Door with single- or double-panel glazing. Doors offer varying levels of acoustic performance through single and double glazing as well as an internal drop seal option. Integrated door hardware and finishes create a uniform and consistent program overall.
In addition to the Focus glass wall system, Teknion will be showing the Zones furniture collection, Tek Pier integrated, height-adjustable, wall-mounted worksurface and monitor, Teknion Community Table, Around task chair, Teknion Sanna by Pablo light collection and the Starting Point textiles collection designed by Suzanne Tick from Luum.
