Teknion Studio today announced that the Qui collection of seating and surfaces is being previewed at NeoCon, the commercial interiors industry’s most important annual event. NeoCon runs from June 15-17 at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

Qui is a system of ottomans, tables and space dividers completed by a lamp and several components and accessories. The collection defines and creates environments to encourage meaningful dialogue between a multitude of colleagues, and small-format, touch-point areas for quick interactions and exchanges.

“The Qui collection originated from an idea of creating a family of products geared towards the theme of versatility – to respond to new and diverse needs of life and work in the contemporary world,” said Monica Armani. “The components are conceived to be used individually or together, in various combinations, with great balance and harmony, to create comfortable and cozy spaces for privacy. Places that can be informal and private and be lived and interpreted in different ways.

“Qui has a precise and recognizable design, combining the harmony and softness of forms with the rigor and pragmatism of technology and materials. An example is the upholstered elements in various forms, which are at the same time formally rigorous, comfortable and cozy. Characterized by simple, soft cushions they ensure correct support.”

Ottomans are available in three diameters, the smallest with optional casters and the largest with optional USB power. Contrasting textile applications allow various configurations. The Qui table collection is offered in a wide range of heights, sizes and configurations, and is available in six different wood finishes. Screens divide environments and create private meeting spaces.

Qui is highly adaptable and ideal for multiple applications in reconfigurable formats. Each element, equipped with electric cable capacity, can be easily integrated with the others, giving rise to different and flexible options for new work or relaxation environments.

In addition to Qui, other new Teknion Studio products making their first appearance at NeoCon include the Cavu Tables Collection by Mario Ruiz, Cover Lounge Seating and Tables by Claesson Koivisto Rune, and Infinito + Masalla Lounge Seating and Tables by Toan Nguyen.
